The Aquarius 1209 – 1150 Litre Below-Ground Rainwater Harvesting System is a fully integrated solution designed to help properties significantly reduce their reliance on mains water by harvesting and reusing natural rainwater. Perfect for self-build, new build and existing residential properties, this underground system offers a smart and sustainable alternative for non-potable water usage.
Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the tank is lightweight yet extremely durable, corrosion-resistant and UV stabilised, ensuring a long operational lifespan even in demanding underground conditions. Its intelligent design allows for maximum storage capacity while maintaining excellent structural strength.
The system is powered by a 240V submersible float pump delivering flow rates of up to 6m³ per hour, providing reliable water pressure for household applications such as toilet flushing, washing machines and general utility use. An automatic float switch ensures seamless water management and operational efficiency.
At the heart of the Aquarius system lies a uniquely engineered tank head with three inlet/outlet intersections, accommodating 110mm or 160mm pipework. This innovative layout enables superior filtration separation and maximises usable storage volume, ensuring optimal performance even during heavy rainfall periods.
With the potential to replace up to 50% of daily domestic potable water use and up to 85% of non-domestic water consumption, the Aquarius 1209 represents a powerful step toward sustainable water management and long-term cost savings.
